Fetterman to JNS: I fully support partnering with Israel to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities

(Worthy Insights) – Over the last several years and particularly since Oct. 7, 2023, Israel has felt isolated diplomatically. Perhaps most painful for the Jewish state has been waning support among American Democrats, once stalwart defenders of Israel.

A near-lone voice from the left flank of the party has been Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman. A towering giant easily recognized by his hooded sweatshirt attire, Fetterman has stood up for Israel time and again when other members of his party refused to do so.

When it comes to Israel, Fetterman is about as hawkish as it gets, willing to support it in its war efforts against Iran and its network of terror proxies, including Hamas and Hezbollah. [ Source (Read More…) ]

New Study Challenges Church Decline Narrative, Suggests Possible Growth in 2025

(Worthy Insights) – A new study is pushing back against the common belief that the church in the U.S. is in decline, suggesting it may actually be growing again while making clear it remains relevant even among non-Christians. The Barna State of the Church report, created in partnership with Gloo, reveals that weekly church attendance had largely plateaued in the U.S. since 2017 and stood at 28 percent of U.S. adults in 2024 — yet preliminary data from early 2025 “suggests a potential uptick in weekly church attendance” to approximately 32 percent.

In another positive sign for people of faith, 65 percent of American adults say they disagree with the statement that the “church is no longer relevant in today’s world.” While 88 percent of practicing Christians disagree with the statement, so do 46 percent of non-Christians.

Even 67 percent of non-practicing Christians — those who identify as Christian but who rarely attend church and say faith is not important in their lives — disagree with the statement. [ Source (Read More…) ]

What the JFK assassination files have revealed so far – including apparent KGB probe into Lee Harvey Oswald

(Worthy Insights) – The long-awaited release of tens of thousands of files on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy Tuesday night sparked a desperate search for new clues in the shocking 62-year-old crime — but much of the trove turned out to confirm information long known.

Gerald Posner, the author of the best-selling 1993 book “Case Closed: Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of JFK,” told The Post in a phone interview on Wednesday he was “about 22,000 pages” into the newly released files — but had yet to see a bombshell piece of evidence.

“I haven’t seen anything yet that is real news, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t something,” Posner said. “The biggest question I have as I go through is, ‘Why were these classified for so many years?’ It’s pretty preposterous.” [ Source (Read More…) ]

Trump says administration will ‘take a look’ at church vandalism in Wichita

(Worthy Insights) – President Donald Trump said his administration will “take a look” at a recent Catholic Church attack as part of its commitment to “eradicating anti-Christian bias” nationwide.

EWTN’s Owen Jensen pressed Trump Monday on what action his administration is taking following the vandalism of St. Patrick’s Church in Wichita, Kansas, over the weekend.

Last Saturday’s desecration of the Catholic Church resulted in the breaking of a statue, the burning of an American flag, candles damaged, a window smashed and a Satanic website was reportedly scrawled on the wall. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Study Finds US Coal Ash Contains $8.4B in Rare Earth Elements

(Worthy Insights) – A study by a team at the University of Texas at Austin found coal ash contains significant amounts of rare earth elements, critical materials used in technology and energy infrastructure. The U.S. currently imports over 80% of its rare earth supply, with 75% coming from China.

Coal ash in the U.S. may hold $8.4 billion worth of rare earth elements, totaling 11 million tons, which is nearly eight times greater than the country’s current domestic reserves.

The U.S. Department of Energy is applying the study’s methodology to conduct a national assessment of coal ash resources. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Breakthrough: Surgeons Restore Sight to Certain Blind Patients Using Their Own Stem Cells

(Worthy Insights) – American surgeons have successfully restored eyesight to a handful of people who suffered blinding eye injuries through the use of a new form of stem cell therapy.

Researchers at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, a specialty hospital located in Boston, have developed cultivated autologous limbal epithelial cells (CALEC) and it has became the first stem cell therapy for the eye ever trialed in the United States.

The ground-breaking procedure starts by removing stem cells from a healthy eye with a biopsy. Then they are grown for two to three weeks before being surgically transplanted onto an injured cornea. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act could end up costing taxpayers nearly $5 trillion, study says

(Worthy Insights) – When former President Joe Biden’s signature Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) passed in 2022, it did so along party lines with not a single Republican voting for it. At the time, a Senate one-pager summarized the law as costing taxpayers $369 billion, based on Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates.

A new study from the Cato Institute finds that the law could cost as much as $4.67 trillion by 2050. That’s roughly 12 times the stated cost. The study also concludes that the subsidies are undermining innovation and driving investments toward subsidy farming rather than satisfying consumer demand.

“The government should not have a hold on the economy in such a way that it can truly distort entire markets, and that’s what the Inflation Reduction Act is,” Joshua Loucks, research associate with Cato Institute and co-author of the analysis, said in a video explaining the study. (Worthy Insights) – The Associated Press retracted an article on Monday after it falsely claimed that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard called President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin “very good friends.”

Barna: America needs ‘spiritual renewal’ as fewer than half of Americans believe God exists

(Worthy Insights) – A new survey has found that more than half of Americans do not believe God exists or that He “affects lives,” prompting one prominent researcher to highlight the need for “sweeping national repentance and spiritual renewal.”

The Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University released the second installment of its American Worldview Inventory 2025 on Wednesday.

The research found that overall, 60% of Americans do not believe God exists or that He “affects lives.” Nearly half of self-identified Christians (47%) and a slightly smaller share of theologically identified born-again Christians (40%) said the same. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Over 4,000 commit to follow Jesus at ‘Encountering God’ gathering in Ethiopia as Franklin Graham proclaims the ‘unchanging Gospel’

(Worthy Insights) – Sixty-five years after his father, the late Billy Graham, first preached in Addis Ababa, Franklin Graham returned to the Ethiopian capital for a two-day evangelistic outreach on March 8-9 dubbed “Encountering God,” drawing hundreds of thousands and witnessing over 4,000 commitments to Jesus Christ.

Graham, who was on his 11th visit to Ethiopia emphasized the enduring relevance of the Gospel message his father shared decades ago. “My father preached the same Gospel message 65 years ago,” Graham told reporters at a press conference attended by forty media outlets. “The world has changed, politics have changed, but the Gospel does not change. It’s the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.”

The outreach was organized by the Ethiopian Council of Gospel Believers’ Churches, a coalition of over 3,000 churches in Ethiopia. The evangelistic gathering was preceded by months of preparation, prayer and discipleship training. Seneshat Teka, Director of Spiritual Development at the council highlighted that while most Ethiopians have some form of religious belief, there is often a strong emphasis on tradition and non-Biblical doctrine. She emphasized the importance for evangelical pastors to remain focused on “the preaching and teaching of the Word of God.” [ Source (Read More…) ]
