(Worthy Insights) – Documents leaked last Friday allegedly reveal a massive deal for advanced fighter jets between Russia and Iran, with the sale of 48 Sukhoi-35 aircraft to Tehran at its core. The planned sale of the aircraft has been known for some time, though various and often conflicting reports about the delivery schedule have surfaced periodically. As of now, the jets have not yet been delivered.

The Russian opposition website The Insider was the first to report on the leak on Thursday, after “Black Mirror” released the first batch of documents. The following day, screenshots of an internal pricing table detailing aircraft sales appeared online.

According to the hackers’ publication, the leak includes more than 300 documents from the Russian state defense conglomerate Rostec, outlining pricing structures and arms deals worth hundreds of millions of dollars, as well as mechanisms for bypassing Western sanctions. [ Source (Read More…) ]

(Worthy Insights) – White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt suggested that President Donald Trump may symbolically recognize a sovereign Palestinian state, depending on the results of peace talks between Israel, Hamas, and third-party nations.

Last Friday, Hamas agreed to the hostage exchange proposed by Trump alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier in the week, but the terrorist group expressed significant concerns about other parts of Trump’s plan, specifically calls for Hamas and the Palestinian Authority to hand over power in Gaza to a transitional technocratic government.

Leavitt faced a number of questions about Gaza during her Monday briefing with reporters, including whether that hypothetical transition of power in Gaza could reverse U.S. policy on Palestinian statehood. (Worthy Insights) – At the specific request of then-Vice President Joe Biden, the CIA buried an embarrassing intelligence report detailing the poor view the Ukrainian government took of his diplomatic efforts and the business dealings of his own family in that country.

Biden had traveled to Kyiv in December 2015, ostensibly to meet with leaders of that fledgling democracy and to deliver a warning against “the cancer of corruption.” And during an address to the Ukrainian parliament, he did condemn the “pervasive poison of cronyism, corruption, and kleptocracy.”

But behind the scenes, Ukrainian officials expressed “bewilderment and disappointment” that the vice president had crossed the Atlantic “almost exclusively to deliver a generic speech.” Officials close to then-President Petro Poroshenko had hoped for guidance “in support of or against specific officials within the Ukrainian government.” They discovered instead that Biden “had no intention of discussing substantive matters.” [ Source (Read More…) ]

Even before Charlie Kirk had been pronounced dead, the narrative apparatus of the Left was in full gear trying to blame the assassination on the Right. Once it became clear that the shooter was a standard-issue leftist, the narrative shifted to “this is a both-sides problem.” But before Kirk had been laid the rest, the experts and researchers had been mobilized to assert that the original claims, if not accurate, were consistent with a pattern in which political violence in America is largely a right-wing problem. Having spent my career in academia sopping up such unctuous claims, let me assure you that this is complete nonsense. Political violence in America is mostly a problem of the Left.

Begin with some bright, shining facts. There were two assassination attempts against President Trump in the recent election and none against his opponents. The California gunman arrested outside Brett Kavanaugh’s home in 2022 planned to assassinate three conservative Supreme Court justices, not any liberal ones. Attempts on the lives of members of Congress this century have resulted in one Republican (Steve Scalise) and one Democrat (Gabby Giffords) suffering serious injuries.

The most recent violence against elected politicians — the murder of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, and the serious injuring of State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife in June — was committed by a deranged loner with no political motives, despite efforts by the Left to portray it as a political act of the Right.

(Worthy Insights) – The pharmaceutical company behind Tylenol privately acknowledged the likelihood of an association between its drug in pregnancy and neurodegenerative disorders like autism in children seven years ago, company documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show.

“The weight of the evidence is starting to feel heavy to me,” said Rachel Weinstein, U.S. director of epidemiology for Janssen, the pharmaceutical arm of Johnson & Johnson, in 2018. Johnson & Johnson marketed Tylenol at the time but in 2023 spun off its consumer products division into a separate company called Kenvue.

Legacy media headlines and vocal public health experts have dismissed the conclusion of President Donald Trump and Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that Tylenol taken in pregnancy and early infancy has driven rises in autism. Newly released data from the Barna Group shows Gen Zers and millennials have overtaken older generations, often attending church services more regularly than their parents and even grandparents.

On top of that, as CBN News previously reported, Bible sales are skyrocketing. Sales of the good book jumped 22% from 2023 to 2024, sparking what The Wall Street Journal is dubbing “a golden age of Bible publishing.”

Adam Schiff were connected to leaks of classified information to prominent reporters designed to portray Donald Trump and his allies as being in league with Russia.  

Written in 2017, the FBI documents expose how selected Washington reporters, including Ellen Nakashima of the Washington Post and Michael Schmidt of the New York Times, scored a series of Pulitzer Prize-winning scoops in 2017 by repeating false and inflammatory leaks during President Trump’s first term.  

Much of their reporting has been debunked – and shown to be part of a smear campaign by high-ranking officials to undermine Trump, but the identities of those leakers have remained hidden because of the government’s apparent unwillingness to expose its own and the refusal of reporters to identify the people who misled them and the nation. The 73,000-seat State Farm Stadium in Glendale began filling shortly after the doors opened at 8 a.m., with 20,000 more attending in overflow venues.

(Worthy Insights) – Surveys show just shy of one-third of Americans trust the news media, a staggering decline from half a century ago, when more than 70% of U.S. adults believed reporters to be fair and honest.

Certainly, some of that can be attributed to the decentralization of media (factor in the rise of social media) and the hyper-partisan nature of culture over the last decade or so. But those things alone — while contributing factors — aren’t driving the shortage of confidence people have in the news media.

Famed investigative journalist Lee Strobel, the erstwhile Chicago Tribune reporter who rose to fame when he (unsuccessfully) tried to factually disprove the evidence for Jesus and ended up becoming a Christian, recently appeared on CBN’s “Faith in Culture” Podcast, where he asserted it’s the motivation that drives people toward journalism that has changed — and not for the better. (Worthy Insights) – The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) delivered a body blow to the corporate media industrial complex’s narrative of a robust Biden economy. In its preliminary benchmark revision, the agency slashed its estimate of nonfarm employment growth from March 2024 to March 2025 by a whopping 911,000 jobs — a downward adjustment of 0.6 percent out of 159 million jobs.

Nearly lost in the BLS news report and in the major media is the fact that the revision wipes out half of the new jobs reported through Biden’s last year in office, down from approximately 1.8 million to around 900,000. [ Source (Read More…) ]

(Worthy Insights) – Christian minister Edward “Ted” Barham says he will not respond with hate after Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud told him he was “not welcome” during a heated city council exchange over a controversial honorary street sign naming that went viral.

In a new interview with Fox News Digital, Barham said the moment has only strengthened his resolve to speak out about freedom of speech and freedom of faith.

“I did not respond to the mayor with hate. I said, God bless you,” Barham said, adding that he takes seriously Jesus’ command to “love your enemies, bless those who curse you.” He said the incident was not isolated, pointing to earlier clashes with city officials over his public ministry.
