  1. I don’t see revival breaking out across the land—in fact, I see the opposite. Many who call themselves Christians are living so fleshly and carnal that I fear they are asleep to the reality of what Christ has called us to do. Jesus’ first message was clear: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). That call has never changed.

Today, however, the word “repent” has been stripped from many pulpits and replaced with messages of comfort and compromise. Just because someone claims to be a Christian does not make it so. The fruit of a true believer is holiness and obedience. God still says, “Be holy, for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16).

Instead of coming out from the world, much of the modern church has joined hands with it. Entertainment has replaced prayer, and worldly philosophies have replaced the pure Word of God. But let us be reminded: sin will still send people to hell. Grace is not a license to live in rebellion. The blood of Jesus was not shed so we could remain in bondage but so we could walk in freedom and holiness.

Revival will not come through compromise or entertainment-driven churches. It will come when God’s people humble themselves, repent of their sins, and return to the Lord with all their hearts (2 Chronicles 7:14). The message has not changed—repentance and faith in Jesus Christ still lead to salvation, and nothing else will do.
