New Hezbollah leader’s 1st speech cut off mid-broadcast

(Worthy Insights) – Hezbollah’s new Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, delivered his first speech in his new position today (Wednesday), but his remarks were cut off mid-speech.

At the same time, a cyber attack was reported in Lebanon. Later, Hezbollah managed to restore the broadcast of the speech.

“The question that is being asked is – what is the leader’s plan of action?” Qassem said. “My plan is the continuation of Nasrallah’s plan in all respects – political, cultural, and jihad. We will continue to carry out the war plan that we decided on together with the organization’s leadership, we will stay on the war path – while dealing with the political challenges and we will respond to developments at this stage.” [ Source (Read More…) ]

At least four people are under arrest and dozens more under investigation. Cyber security experts and hackers may have breached the servers of Italy’s interior ministry, investigators said. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Trump gives Netanyahu deadline to end Israel-Hamas war by January if he takes office: report

(Worthy Insights) – Former President Trump reportedly asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to wrap up the Israel-Hamas war by the time he gets inaugurated, if he is elected, according to the Times of Israel.

The Israeli outlet was told about the exchange by an anonymous source familiar with the situation. Either Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris will be inaugurated on Jan. 20, depending on how voters cast their ballots on Nov. 5.

The Times of Israel’s source said that Trump initially gave the message to Netanyahu when the Israeli leader visited him at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, this past July. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Biden Sparks Outrage by Calling Trump Supporters ‘Garbage’

(Worthy Insights) – President Joe Biden sparked anger Tuesday when he used the term “garbage” to describe Donald Trump supporters.

Biden’s remark came in response to a comedian at a recent Trump rally in Madison Square Garden who compared Puerto Rico to an “island of garbage.” The Trump campaign said that comment does not reflect Mr. Trump’s views.

But in a call with a Latino advocacy group, President Biden had this to say: “Well let me tell you something I don’t know the Puerto Rico that I know, or Puerto Rico where I’m, in my home state of Delaware, they’re good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters. His demonization is unconscionable.” [ Source (Read More…) ]

Biden-Harris admin approves military use of lethal force on US citizens: Report

(Worthy Insights) – The Department of Defense (DOD) is facing significant backlash after releasing DOD directive 5240.01, which took effect on September 27. The Biden-Harris administration’s latest DoD directive has been accused of authorizing the U.S. military to use lethal force against American citizens.

The directive gives the Pentagon authority to approve “assistance in responding with assets with potential for lethality, or any situation in which it is reasonably foreseeable that providing the requested assistance may involve the use of force that is likely to result in lethal force, including death or serious bodily injury.”

The DoD directive also “includes all support to civilian law enforcement officials in situations where a confrontation between civilian law enforcement and civilian individuals or groups is reasonably anticipated.” [ Source (Read More…) ]

At Knesset, Netanyahu urges dismantling of Iran’s ‘evil axis’

(Worthy Insights) – Israel is pursuing a “long-term strategy” focused on neutralizing Iran’s nuclear program and proxies, despite claims to the contrary, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday.

Speaking at the opening of the Knesset’s winter session, Netanyahu pushed back against recent claims that Israel’s war effort lacked focus.

“After each of our achievements, I hear the former officials in the television studios say: ‘Well, we understand the immediate war goals, but what’s the strategy?’” he said. “So if it’s not clear by now, I will lay it out in simple terms: Our long-term strategy, which I hope will be achieved shortly, is to dismantle the evil axis, sever its tentacles in the north and south, exact a heavy toll from Iran and its proxies and prevent it from obtaining nuclear arms.” [ Source (Read More…) ]

Russia fines Google $20.5 decillion — more than the entire world’s GDP — for allegedly blocking Kremlin propaganda

(Worthy Insights) – Why fine Google $1 million when you can fine it $20.5 decillion?

A Russian court has ordered Google to pay a fine worth more than the entire world’s GDP — with an additional $1 million daily penalty — after the tech giant allegedly barred pro-Moscow propaganda channels on YouTube.

The absurd amount would be written as 20 followed by 33 zeros, which far eclipses Google’s own $2 trillion value — and is akin to the outrageous ransom demands made by the fictional Dr. Evil in the Austin Powers movie franchise. [ Source (Read More…) ]

TV Hits Trump With 85% Negative News vs. 78% Positive Press for Harris

(Worthy Insights) – One week before Election Day, a new analysis from the Media Research Center finds that broadcast evening news coverage of the 2024 presidential race has been the most lopsided in history. Since July, ABC, CBS and NBC have treated Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris to 78 percent positive coverage, while these same networks have pummeled former Republican President Donald Trump with 85 percent negative coverage.

The difference in coverage between the two candidates is far greater than in 2016, when both Trump and then-challenger Hillary Clinton received mostly negative coverage (91% negative for Trump, vs. 79% negative for Clinton). It’s even greater than in 2020, when Joe Biden was treated to 66 percent positive coverage, vs. 92 percent negative for Trump.

The main reason for the imbalance: Since July, the Big Three have swamped their audiences with more than 230 minutes of airtime — virtually all of it negative — about an array of personal controversies surrounding the former President, yet provided extremely light coverage or altogether ignored many controversies involving Vice President Harris. Instead, Harris’s coverage has been larded with enthusiastic quotes from pro-Harris voters, creating a positive “vibe” for the Democrat even as network reporters criticize Trump themselves. Trump, RFK Jr’s ‘Make America Healthy Again’ Pledge Signals Major Shift In GOP Priorities

(Worthy Insights) – Former President Donald Trump and former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s recent vow to tackle public health issues together could signal a major shift in Republican priorities if the Trump campaign prevails on Election Day.

Trump has called for the creation of an independent commission with Kennedy’s input and pledged to address various Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) issues the former independent candidate has brought to the forefront, including improving the public’s intake of nutritious foods and addressing the rising trend of obesity in adults. These concerns, in addition to other MAHA priorities that have not historically found much support in the GOP such as calling for more stringent environmental regulations, indicate that a potential Trump administration may take a different approach on health, agricultural and environmental issues than during his first term in office. Hundreds of ballots destroyed in drop box arson; officials say Vancouver, Portland incidents linked

(Worthy Insights) – Hundreds of ballots were destroyed in a ballot box fire in Vancouver early Monday morning, and another ballot box fire in Portland destroyed three ballots. The fires happened about a week away from the Nov. 5 general election. Law enforcement officials believe the two incidents — and a similar Vancouver incident three weeks ago — are all linked.

Vancouver police officers responded around 4 a.m. Monday to a reported arson at a ballot box on Southeast 164th Avenue, near the Fisher’s Landing Transit Depot. The officers found a “suspicious device” next to the ballot box, which was smoking and on fire, according to Vancouver police. A KGW crew saw flames and smoke coming from the ballot box around 6:30 a.m. The Metro Explosive Disposal Unit retrieved the device and the fire was extinguished, Vancouver police said. Witches Report Their Spells Against Trump Aren’t Working: ‘He Has a Shield’

(Worthy Insights) – From dabblers to hard-core practitioners, witchcraft has been on the rise in the U.S. in recent years. It has become so trendy that there’s an entire TikTok hashtag dedicated to WitchTok, and it’s got billions of views. The occult has gained popularity in the political realm as well, once again on display during this election season.

With the presidential election right around the corner, witches are trying to cast spells against Donald Trump, but this time around they’re reportedly frustrated that their spells aren’t working.

The Toronto Star reports on one example in which a group of roughly 100 witches has been gathering by Zoom to attack Trump in the spirit realm. “Armed with orange candles, tarot cards, and a not-so-flattering photo of the former president, they cast a spell to block his return to the White House. The final words of their synchronized ritual — ‘You’re fired!’ — echo as Trump’s image burns to the ground,” the Star reports. [ Source: CBN News (Read More…) ]

The Election Is Looming — and These Washingtonians Are Running Scared

(Worthy Insights) – As election week approaches, Washington, D.C., residents are grappling with fears of potential unrest, reminiscent of the January 6 Capitol riot with many in Washington planning conveniently timed getaways, seeking to avoid possible chaos, with some recalling unsettling experiences from previous political turmoil.

The heightened anxiety reflects concerns across the political spectrum about post-election violence, with liberals fearing a repeat of January 6 and conservatives worried about antifa-related unrest. Businesses and officials are preparing for worst-case scenarios, holding briefings and tabletop exercises involving Homeland Security and local police. The discussions, once unthinkable, show how deeply the events of 2020 have reshaped the city’s mindset about election safety. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Archaeological Discoveries Continue in Israel Despite Regional Conflicts

(Worthy Insights) – Despite ongoing regional tensions in 2024, Israeli archaeologists have continued their vital work, unearthing remarkable artifacts that span millennia of human history. While the pace of excavations has slowed—with approximately 120 sites explored compared to the typical 250-300—the findings have been no less extraordinary.

“Despite the difficult year we experienced due to the war, the Israel Antiquities Authority continued to carry out rescue excavations throughout the country,” notes IAA director-general Eli Escusido, highlighting the organization’s commitment to preserving historical heritage even in challenging times.

Among the year’s most significant discoveries is an ancient stone road in northern Jerusalem’s Mount Hotzvim, dating to the Second Temple period. This pathway may have historic religious significance, potentially connecting to the previously discovered “Pilgrim’s Road.” [ Source: Israel365 (Read More…) ]

IDF releases more documents it says show cooperation between Hamas and Al Jazeera

(Worthy Insights) – The IDF on Thursday published further documents captured in Gaza that it said indicated close cooperation between Hamas and Al Jazeera, including papers in which the terror group advised the Qatari network not to criticize it, and in which the sides coordinated on concealing incidents of failed rocket launches.

The release came a day after the army publicized documents uncovered in the Gaza Strip that it said showed that six active Al Jazeera reporters are operatives in Palestinian terror groups.

The IDF said the latest documents proved direct communication and cooperation between the Qatari network and Hamas. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Water Libation Reenactment Takes Place in Preparation for the Third Temple

(Worthy Insights) – On Sunday, a full-dress reenactment of the water libation, as it was performed in the Temple, was held in Jerusalem with several hundred participants led by Kohanim in priestly garb, accompanied by Levites playing musical instruments.

The event began at Shaar Hashpot (the dung gate) in Jerusalem’s Old City where participants joined Kohanim (priests) in Biblically mandated vestments and Levites with musical instruments, also wearing special vestments. The musically gifted Levites led the ceremony with joyous music on drums, violin, guitar, and clarinet, winding down ancient walkways into the valley below the Temple Mount. The crowd sang and danced as they passed from the archaeological remains of the ancient City of David, through an Arab village, to the Shiloach (Siloam) Spring, which was used in Temple times. The procession was punctuated by stops during which four-foot-long pure silver trumpets were sounded. [ Source: Israel365 (Read More…) ]

‘Deadly Serious Breach’: Classified US Docs on Israel Reach Iranian News Entity, Signaling Jewish State ‘Can’t Trust Washington’

(Worthy Insights) – The Biden-Harris administration is investigating a “deadly serious breach” of classified U.S. intelligence detailing Israeli plans for a strike on Iran, the latest in a series of targeted leaks against Israel that has put America’s closest Middle East ally on edge, according to current and former U.S. officials.

The explosive weekend release included top-secret Pentagon documents purporting to show Israel’s preparations for a large-scale counterstrike on Iran. The two documents—compiled by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and National Security Agency over the past several weeks—expose how Israel is preparing for the attack, including the types of aircraft and munitions that are expected to be used. They were published by the Middle East Spectator, a little-known outlet that is known to disseminate propaganda from Tehran.

While the documents, according to CNN, include markings that indicate they were meant to be shared with the “Five Eyes” intelligence network—made up of the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada—a former U.S. intelligence community official who reviewed them said there is no question they emanated from the U.S. side. The documents, the former official said, appear to have been posted on a U.S. classified system that can be accessed by “thousands upon thousands” of American officials from across the government.” [ Source (Read More…) ]

Full-Dress Kohen Sighted on Temple Mount

(Worthy Insights) – The Temple Institute announced a remarkable development that brought Israel one step closer to the Third Temple. For the first time since the Temple stood in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago, a kohen (male descendant of Biblical Aaron the High Priest) ascended to the Temple Mount wearing the Biblically mandated Kohanic garments. While on the mount, the Kohen joined in a prayer quorum and gave the priestly blessing to those gathered.

The Temple Institute prepared the garments in preparation for the return of the Temple service.

This impressive feat was accomplished despite the numerous extra-legal restrictions placed on Jews at the site. There is no law preventing Jews from praying on the Temple Mount, and the Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Jewish prayer several times. Jews do pray at the site in inconspicuous manners and out of sight from the Arabs, but the police frequently prevent this from happening. On Tuesday, Jews prayed freely in minyanim (quorums of ten). Christian students in Wisconsin speak out after Kamala Harris told them they were at the ‘wrong rally’

(Worthy Insights) – A pair of Christian students trolled by Kamala Harris and mercilessly mocked by the crowd at her rally at the University of Wisconsin-La Cross last week insist they were “there for the right reasons.”

Grant Beth and Luke Polaske, both juniors at the school, told “Fox & Friends Weekend” that they felt persecuted akin to Jesus and his early followers after they shouted such things as, “Christ is king!” when the Democratic vice president-turned-presidential candidate started talking about abortion rights.

One of them said Harris even sarcastically waved to him and gave him “an evil smirk” as he held up the cross around his neck and pointed to her while being booted with his pal. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Iran remembers Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar as a ‘martyr’ and ‘model for the youth and children’

(Worthy Insights) – Hours after Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was killed by Israeli forces, Iran remembered Sinwar as a martyr whose vision for a liberated Palestine would be carried forward.

Sinwar, the architect of the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel, which prompted the ongoing war between the Jewish state and terror group in the Gaza Strip, was killed Thursday by Israeli forces in Rafah.

“He told you he was a lion, but in reality, he was hiding in a dark den, and he was killed when he fled in a panic from our soldiers,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a televised message announcing Sinwar’s death. [ Source: Fox News (Read More…) ]

‘Despicable’: Washington Post obituary for Yahya Sinwar ‘glorifies’ him

(Worthy Insights) – Media Analyst and Political Commentator Stephanie Hamill slams the Washington Post obituary for Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar which she says is “glorifying” an “evil man”.

“The Washington Post did refer to ISIS’ leader as an austere scholar, and it was totally reprehensible then and then once again, it is like they are glorifying this evil, evil man,” Ms Hamill told Sky News host James Morrow.

“If you read through the article, It’s almost like they are not talking about a man who is a leader and person behind who is behind the murdering of over 1200 Jewish people. [ Source: Sky News Australia (Read More…) ]
