Trump Would Be Wise To Deliver Regime Change in Iran

(Worthy Insights) – Now that Donald Trump has secured his remarkable victory in the US presidential election, supporting regime change in Iran could soon emerge as one of his new administration’s top priorities after he takes office in January.

Trump’s no-nonsense approach to confronting the ayatollahs’ malign influence in the region was one of the defining characteristics during his first term in the White House.

One of his more laudable foreign policy initiatives was to withdraw from the flawed nuclear deal with Iran agreed by former President Barack Obama in 2015. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Iranian lawmaker: Time to match US, Israel’s nuclear arsenal – analysis

(Worthy Insights) – Iran should change its nuclear policy and develop “any weapon that creates deterrence,” Iranian lawmaker Mahmoud Nabavian said.

Regional reports see this as a reference to Iran pursuing nuclear weapons. “Iranian lawmaker Mahmoud Nabavian has underscored the need for a shift in the country’s nuclear policy to ensure deterrence against enemies, saying Tehran must be equipped with weapons possessed by the US and Israel,” Iranian IRNA state media said.

“The Iranian nation must equip itself with all the weapons that its terrorist enemies, namely the US and Israel, possess,” Nabavian said, according to Iran International on Sunday. [ Source (Read More…) ]

‘God of Darkness’ asteroid will pass so close it is expected to get ‘the shakes’

(Worthy Insights) – A recent study led by Ronald-Louis Ballouz from Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory suggests that the asteroid 99942 Apophis may experience tremors—similar to earthquakes—due to Earth’s gravitational pull during its close flyby on April 13, 2029, with simulations indicating significant surface changes. Apophis, approximately 340 meters in size, will pass within about 32,000 kilometers of Earth, closer than many satellites in orbit.

When Apophis was discovered on June 19, 2004, by Roy Tucker, David Tholen, and Fabrizio Bernardi during the University of Hawaii Asteroid Survey (UHAS), initial calculations indicated that it could approach Earth with a risk of collision, especially during its pass in 2029. It didn’t help that it is named after the Egyptian god of darkness and chaos.

At the time of its discovery, Apophis was considered the potentially “most dangerous” asteroid for Earth due to a possible impact that could kill millions of people. However, additional research allowed scientists to rule out the possibility of impact in 2029 and 2036, and calculations now show no impact risk for at least the next 100 years. 51 Biden laptop deniers in danger of losing security clearances; letter falsely accused Russia

(Worthy Insights) – Several Republican lawmakers want Congress to strip the security clearances of dozens of former U.S. intelligence officials who worked against President Trump in 2020 by asserting that information in the laptop of Hunter Biden was likely Russian disinformation.

Republicans have called for accountability from the 51 intelligence officials who were accused of helping Democratic presidential candidate Joseph R. Biden, Mr. Trump’s opponent in 2020, by issuing a joint letter stating that the information in the laptop bore the hallmarks of an operation by Moscow.

Hunter Biden is the president’s oft-troubled son, and the FBI later verified the authenticity of the scandalous material in the laptop. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Trump Triumph Complete: CNN Ratings Drop 94% After Declaring War on Incoming President

(Worthy Insights) – If you examine cable news viewership trends closely enough, you will find reasons for both satisfaction and discouragement.

Nonetheless, satisfaction prevails when one contemplates the totality of President-elect Donald Trump’s victory over his establishment antagonists at CNN.

To quantify that victory, consider that since the network began its ill-fated crusade against Trump in 2016, the former kings and queens of prime-time cable news at CNN have hemorrhaged 94 percent of their viewing audience, per the U.K.’s Daily Mail. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Incoming Trump admin is eyeing new immigrant detention centers near major U.S. cities

(Worthy Insights) – The incoming Trump administration is considering locations and talking to private prison companies about drastically expanding immigrant detention centers that would hold immigrants before they are deported as part of President-elect Donald Trump’s promised mass deportation plan, two sources familiar with the planning told NBC News.

The goal is to double the number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention beds — 41,000 are now allocated by Congress — to hold vast numbers of migrants for short periods of time while they await deportation after their arrests inside the U.S., the sources said.

The plan would also include restarting the policy of detaining parents with their children, known as family detention, which immigration advocates have criticized and the Biden administration stopped in 2021, the sources said. [ Source (Read More…) ]

China unveils J-35A and other new fighters at Zhuhai Airshow

(Worthy Insights) – China’s premier defense exhibition, Zhuhai Airshow, opened its gates this week headlined by the J-35A fifth-generation fighter as well as a J-15T fighter designed for catapult operations aboard aircraft carriers.

The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) is a secretive organization, but it uses events like the Zhuhai Airshow to unveil new equipment for the armed forces. This applies to the J-35A, which appeared emblazoned in PLA Air Force (PLAAF) markings.

As the J-35A joins the J-20 in Chinese service, China becomes the second nation in the world to operate two different fifth-generation, stealthy fighters. The only other country to achieve this is the U.S., which flies the F-22A Raptor and F-35 Lightning II. [ Source (Read More…) ]

New UFO Hearings Begin Wednesday

(Worthy Insights) – House Republicans are seeking “systemic transparency” when they launch a new round of hearings on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) — aka UFOs — on Capitol Hill on Wednesday.

The House Oversight Committee is holding the joint subcommittee hearing in an effort “to further pull back the curtain on secret UAP research programs conducted by the U.S. government, and undisclosed findings they have yielded.”

The hearing will, in part, follow up on information provided by whistleblower David Grusch, who asserted in July 2023 that the Pentagon has been operating a secret crash retrieval program for UFOs, something the Defense Department has denied. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Midrash Hints that Trump Will Return Glory to Western World by Building Third Temple

(Worthy Insights) – Rabbi Yosef Berger revealed some amazing aspects of Donald Trump’s victory in the recent US Presidential election, most notably his potential role in building the Third Temple. As the spiritual descendant of Rome, the nation that destroyed the Second Temple, Trump has the potential to do a tikkun, fixing the sin of Rome, and returning the glory to Western society.

“Trump’s election is a necessary element of the geula (redemption) and a sign that the moshiach (messiah) is imminent,” Rabbi Berger said. “That is why Donald Trump in Gematria (Hebrew numerology) equals 424, which is the same as Moshiach ben David (Messiah from the house of David),” Rabbi Berger pointed out. “This certainly does not mean he will be the Messiah, but it indicates that he will play a role in preparing the way for the arrival of the Messiah. He clearly has this inclination.”

This connection was so evident in Trump’s connection with Jerusalem that in 2018, the Sanhedrin minted a coin with the profile of Trump superimposed on the image of Persian King Cyrus, who facilitated the building of the Second Temple in Jerusalem that ended the Babylonian Exile in 538 BCE. Diplomat says Qatar quitting Gaza mediation role, Hamas to be booted from country

(Worthy Insights) – Qatar has decided to end its role as mediator between Israel and Hamas amid long-stalled negotiations for a Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal, a diplomat familiar with the matter told The Times of Israel on Saturday.

The diplomat, who is not American, also confirmed Friday’s revelation by the US that Doha told Hamas officials late last month to leave the country, but appeared to deny that the decision was taken in connection with a request from the Biden administration.

Later on Saturday, Qatar officially confirmed its decision to halt mediation efforts, but framed the decision as reversible, if the parties demonstrate willingness to re-engage. The foreign ministry made a point of claiming that “media reports” on the topic — and specifically those on Qatar’s decision to close the Hamas office in Doha — are “inaccurate.” [ Source (Read More…) ]

Judge Forces Feds To Reveal More Evidence Of Social Media Censorship

(Worthy Insights) – More internal government communications will soon be revealed in a high-profile censorship case that already hit the U.S. Supreme Court, thanks to a Friday court ruling in Missouri v. Biden. The historic free speech case uncovered that federal officials, all the way up to President Joe Biden, pressured social media companies to remove specific posts and discussion terms, systemically slanting society in favor of Democrats by controlling public discussions.

After the Supreme Court ruled in June that the plaintiffs didn’t meet the higher legal standard for a preliminary injunction against government officials, as the case moved forward, the case went back to a Louisiana district court, where it originated. The judge in that case, Terry Doughty, on Friday allowed the plaintiffs to obtain more public records, which they say will help establish that federal officials specifically targeted their speech on social media monopolies such as Facebook, Google, and X.

“Because we find that Plaintiffs have demonstrated the necessity of jurisdictional discovery, and because their proposed discovery does not appear to be a jurisdictional fishing expedition—Plaintiffs shall have the opportunity to conduct such discovery,” Doughty wrote in his Nov. 8 ruling. Trump says Nikki Haley and Mike Pompeo won’t be asked to return in second administration

(Worthy Insights) – US President-elect Donald Trump ruled out on Saturday re-appointing two senior figures from his first administration, ex-secretary of state Mike Pompeo and former UN ambassador Nikki Haley.

Writing on his Truth Social social network, Trump said he “will not be inviting” either figure to join his administration as speculation swirls about the identity of his new team.

Federal judge tosses Illinois’ ban on semiautomatic weapons

(Worthy Insights) – A federal judge has overturned Illinois’ ban on semiautomatic weapons, leaning on recent U.S. Supreme Court rulings that strictly interpret the Second Amendment right to keep and bear firearms.

U.S. District Judge Stephen P. McGlynn’s said his Friday decision applied universally, not just to the lawsuit’s plaintiffs.

The Protect Illinois Communities Act, signed into law in January 2023 by Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker, took effect Jan. 1. It bans AR-15 rifles and similar guns, large-capacity magazines and an assortment of attachments largely in response to the 2022 Independence Day shooting at a parade in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park.
