Full-Dress Kohen Sighted on Temple Mount

(Worthy Insights) – The Temple Institute announced a remarkable development that brought Israel one step closer to the Third Temple. For the first time since the Temple stood in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago, a kohen (male descendant of Biblical Aaron the High Priest) ascended to the Temple Mount wearing the Biblically mandated Kohanic garments. While on the mount, the Kohen joined in a prayer quorum and gave the priestly blessing to those gathered.

The Temple Institute prepared the garments in preparation for the return of the Temple service.

This impressive feat was accomplished despite the numerous extra-legal restrictions placed on Jews at the site. There is no law preventing Jews from praying on the Temple Mount, and the Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Jewish prayer several times. Jews do pray at the site in inconspicuous manners and out of sight from the Arabs, but the police frequently prevent this from happening. On Tuesday, Jews prayed freely in minyanim (quorums of ten). Christian students in Wisconsin speak out after Kamala Harris told them they were at the ‘wrong rally’

(Worthy Insights) – A pair of Christian students trolled by Kamala Harris and mercilessly mocked by the crowd at her rally at the University of Wisconsin-La Cross last week insist they were “there for the right reasons.”

Grant Beth and Luke Polaske, both juniors at the school, told “Fox & Friends Weekend” that they felt persecuted akin to Jesus and his early followers after they shouted such things as, “Christ is king!” when the Democratic vice president-turned-presidential candidate started talking about abortion rights.

One of them said Harris even sarcastically waved to him and gave him “an evil smirk” as he held up the cross around his neck and pointed to her while being booted with his pal. [ Source (Read More…) ]

Iran remembers Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar as a ‘martyr’ and ‘model for the youth and children’

(Worthy Insights) – Hours after Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was killed by Israeli forces, Iran remembered Sinwar as a martyr whose vision for a liberated Palestine would be carried forward.

Sinwar, the architect of the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel, which prompted the ongoing war between the Jewish state and terror group in the Gaza Strip, was killed Thursday by Israeli forces in Rafah.

“He told you he was a lion, but in reality, he was hiding in a dark den, and he was killed when he fled in a panic from our soldiers,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a televised message announcing Sinwar’s death. [ Source: Fox News (Read More…) ]

‘Despicable’: Washington Post obituary for Yahya Sinwar ‘glorifies’ him

(Worthy Insights) – Media Analyst and Political Commentator Stephanie Hamill slams the Washington Post obituary for Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar which she says is “glorifying” an “evil man”.

“The Washington Post did refer to ISIS’ leader as an austere scholar, and it was totally reprehensible then and then once again, it is like they are glorifying this evil, evil man,” Ms Hamill told Sky News host James Morrow.

“If you read through the article, It’s almost like they are not talking about a man who is a leader and person behind who is behind the murdering of over 1200 Jewish people. [ Source: Sky News Australia (Read More…) ]

Americans’ Trust In Mass Media Hits All-Time Low

(Worthy Insights) – Good news is hard to come by in this late-stage American empire, but a new poll offers a ray of hope, finding that Americans’ trust and confidence in mass media is at an all-time low.

Only 31% of Americans have a “great deal” or a “fair amount” of trust in mass media “when it comes to reporting the news fully, accurately and fairly,” according to Gallup poll conducted in early September. A greater number of Americans — 36% — say they have no trust at all.

Going back to when Gallup first asked the question in 52 years ago, trust was highest in 1976, topping out at 72% — more than double current levels. Meanwhile, the percent expressing complete distrust has soared from single digits in ’76. [ Source:ZeroHedge (Read More…) ]

Michigan’s Voter Rolls List 8.4M Voters. There Are Fewer Than 8M Voting-Age Residents In The State

(Worthy Insights) – Around 8.4 million people are registered to vote in Michigan, but that’s nearly 500,000 more people than the total number of voting-age residents in the state.

The inflated voter rolls in Michigan, a vital battleground state in the 2024 election, are one of the largest imbalances in the country, Bridge Michigan reported. The Republican National Committee sued Michigan Democratic Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson over the inflated voter rolls earlier this year, along with filing lawsuits over other election-related issues in the state, but Benson’s office dismissed the concerns on Wednesday, arguing that the lawsuits “lay the groundwork to overturn the results of the election if they don’t like them.”

“The RNC and its members are concerned that Defendants’ failure to comply with the NVRA’s voter-list maintenance obligations undermines the integrity of elections by increasing the opportunity for ineligible voters or voters intent on fraud to cast ballots,” the RNC’s lawsuit stated. Study finds Christopher Columbus was a Sephardic Jew from Western Europe

(Worthy Insights) – The 15th-century explorer Christopher Columbus was a Sephardic Jew from Western Europe, Spanish scientists said on Saturday, after using DNA analysis to tackle a centuries-old mystery.

Several countries have argued over the origins and the final burial place of the divisive figure who led Spanish-funded expeditions from the 1490s onward, opening the way for the European conquest of the Americas.

Many historians have questioned the traditional theory that Columbus came from Genoa, Italy. Other theories range from him being a Spanish Jew or a Greek, to Basque, Portuguese or British. [ Source: Times of Israel (Read More…) ]

The secret of Netanyahu’s unacknowledged and historic popularity

(Worthy Insights) – It was strange to watch Fox News’ Martha MacCallum yesterday refer to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “unpopularity” in Israel. McCallum is a straight-shooting journalist. So how is it that she is unaware that Netanyahu is the most popular prime minister Israel has had in ages?

Direct Polls is Israel’s most accurate polling company. It was the only one to accurately call the 2022 Knesset elections that returned Netanyahu and his Right-Religious bloc to power. Over the past year, Direct Polls accomplished what was previously considered impossible: It conducted uniformly accurate polls of much smaller local government elections.

Netanyahu’s popularity reasonably sank in the immediate aftermath of Hamas’s Oct. 7 invasion and slaughter of 1,200 Israelis. But it began rebounding in late November. After National Resilience Party leader Benny Gantz resigned from Netanyahu’s government in June, Netanyahu steadily rose in Direct Polls tracking polls—leading Gantz and Opposition leader Yesh Atid Party head Yair Lapid by double digits in head-to-head matchups. In the intervening months, the gap between Netanyahu and his rival has grown steadily. [ Source: JNS (Read More…) ]

‘Huge unforced error’: CBS News roiled by allegations of anti-Israel bias, deceptive editing

(Worthy Insights) – CBS News showed that it can make news as well as cover it after a brutal week that saw the network add allegations of anti-Israel bias to its woes over its editing of an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.

The network was criticized for admonishing “CBS Mornings” co-host Tony Dokoupil over his quizzing of author Ta-Nehisi Coates on his Israel-unfriendly book “The Message,” an interview that reportedly prompted a public reprimand at an Oct. 7 staff meeting and a round of diversity coaching.

Then an internal memo surfaced with a head-scratching geography lesson about the location of Jerusalem. [ Source: Washington Times (Read More…) ]
