Minnesota Poised To Ban Christians, Muslims, And Jews From Teaching In Public Schools

(Worthy Insights) – Minnesota will soon ban faithful Christians, Muslims, and Jews from teaching in public schools by requiring that every state-certified teacher “fosters an environment that ensures student identities such as … gender identity … are … affirmed.” Once the new requirements clear a final procedural hurdle, they will be immediately challenged in state and possibly federal court, a civil liberties lawyer told The Federalist on Tuesday.

“We have lots of parents who are upset by this sort of thing in schools already,” said Doug Seaton, president of Minnesota’s Upper Midwest Law Center, in an interview. “They’re going to be even more upset with how their teachers are going to be licensed. Their teachers are going to have to be faced with hiding their beliefs or getting denied [for a state teaching license].”

Seaton said it was accurate to describe the nearly finalized regulations as communicating: “Christians, Muslims, and Jews need not apply for Minnesota teaching jobs.” That is unconstitutional, he said, so UMLC plans to sue once the changes go into effect. [ Source: Federalist (Read More…) ]

  1. The title is misleading, I am told by the 20-somethings here. They have a point. Every time a Christian or Messianic goes out their doors to mingle with the public (and we are talking about Public Schools here) we tolerate tons of stuff. In Seattle, its common to have to step over sleeping (or heroin stoked) homeless, just on the way to the corner market. We have to tolerate them who will not listen to us give them the Good News that Jesus (Yeshua) saves, all the time. The goofy “you can be all you can,” or “all you want to be” phenomena, birthed in the USA and/or UK, is at fault for this. But it’s much more than that. The Sexual Revolution progressed so far that rightly some of our youth have decided they don’t want to be involved with such relations at all, maybe ever. Considering all the Christian divorces now, also. Not knowing the power of God to remain chaste, and listening to corrupt public school teachers, they more often go “nonbinary.” God have mercy. But to say that Minnesota is not going to hire or keep Christian, Jewish, or Muslim teachers is not the same thing. What looks like fostering identies is that same appearance as tolerating pagan (youth) sinners often where they have no other choices to be. Some of those very teachers are God gifted to do exactly those jobs of tolerating, and living for Christ, which shines. Living for Yeshua haMashiach (Jesus, the Christ) is a statement all by itself, of the Gospel he died for such sinners for. By the way, Dr. Sigmund Freud, himself, in his original publication of The Future of an Illusion states unequivocally that it is exactly “all the major monotheistic religions” he and his cronies planned “to destroy” with Psychoanalysis. He then goes on to define those 3 major monotheistic religions they (he and his “Secret Committee”) planned to destroy as: “Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Now, this article names Jews, Christians, and Muslim teachers? What’s not to notice here? It’s not the LGBTQers that Christians and Jews need to be woke up about.

  2. There is a difference between accepting and promoting. Accepting people where they are is one thing. Promoting and encouraging them to stay where they are is another. As a Christian I can accept a person in their current situation, but encourage to be what God created them to be. However, I cannot Promote a lifestyle that clearly goes against what God intended for us. It seems to me that the rules they are setting up in the schools would be difficult to follow therefore you will lose good teachers. School should be for academics not lifestyle choices. Let these things be taught at home
