(Worthy Insights) – Hundreds of churches, ministries and individuals have committed to pray for 250 million students worldwide for the Collegiate Day of Prayer on Feb. 27.
The annual event, held on the last Thursday in February, is expecting over 700 individuals and congregations to pray for the students at more than 1,100 campuses.
CDP Executive Director Thai Lam told The Christian Post that while his organization launched their efforts in 2009, the day of prayer focused on colleges and universities traces its origins to a similar observance in the early 19th century. [ Source (Read More…) ]
